Invitation to attend the inauguration of the ‘Canton India Book Club’ at the Consulate General of India, Guangzhou on April 23, 2025

Dear Members of Indian Diaspora,

We are glad to invite you to attend the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Canton India Book Club’ at the Library of the Consulate General of India, Guangzhou. This initiative aims to promote Indian literature in South China as well as to provide a platform to the Indian diaspora and their children to engage in Indian literary events.

2. The ‘Canton India Book Club’ features a dedicated library that will be made accessible to the members of Indian diaspora.

3. The inauguration ceremony of the ‘Canton India Book Club’ will be held on the occasion of ‘World Book Day’. Details of the event are placed below:

Date: April 23, 2025 (Wednesday)

Time: 1830-2000 hrs
