As part of the inauguration of the ‘Canton Indian Book Club’ at the Consulate’s Library on the occasion of the ‘World Book Day’, the Consulate General of India, Guangzhou is organizing a ‘Story Telling Competition’ on the theme of ‘Ramyana’ for the children of Indian diaspora.

Theme: ‘Ramayana Story Telling Competition’

Eligibility: Open for Indian Diaspora Children (upto18 years age, residing in the following Provinces only: Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Hainan, Sichuan, Yunnan & Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region)

Entry Fee: FREE of Cost.

Language: Hindi or English.

Duration of each narration: Between 2 to 4 minutes

I Prize: RMB 750/-

II Prize: RMB 500/-

III Prize: RMB 250/-

Judging Criteria: The winners will be selected by an evaluation committee. Participants are expected to respect their decisions.
