Dear All,

As part of the celebrations of ‘Hindi Diwas’ and ‘Hindi Pakhwada’ (14-28 September 2024), the Consulate General of India, Guangzhou is organizing 2 online competitions:

Competition 1: Online Hindi Essay Writing Competition

-वविषय: विकसित भारत 2047: एक दृष्टि[Topic: (Viksit Bharat 2047: A Vision)]

-The essay must be handwritten; Word Limit: 500 words

Competition 2: Online Hindi Speech

-वविषय: एक पेड़ माँ के नाम: पर्यावरण संरक्षण का महत्व(Topic: Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam: The Importance of Environmental Protection).

-The participant must share a video recording of their speech in Hindi; Time Limit: 60 seconds.

2. The participation is open for Members of Indian Diaspora and Friends of India residing in South China.

3. To participate, please submit your entries by scanning the WeChat QR code mentioned in the Flyer by 25 September 2024 along with the following details: (i) Your Full Name (ii) Name of the Competition and the Topic (iii) Your Date of Birth (iv) Your WeChat Contact Number (v) Your Current City of Residence (vi) Your Email ID (vii) Your Profession (viii) Your Nationality (ix) Your social media ID for tagging (Twitter/ Facebook/ Instagram/ Weibo/ WeChat)

4. The selected entries will be featured on the official social media pages of the Consulate. The winners in each category of these competitions will be awarded the following Prizes on the occasion of the celebrations of Hindi Diwas on 27 September 2024 at the premises of the Consulate:

I Prize: RMB 1000/-

II Prize: RMB 750/-

III Prize: RMB 500/-
