Addendum to the Poster Making Competition:
Dear Members of Indian Diaspora,
Based on the requests received from participants willing to participate in the Poster Making Competition, but residing out of Guangzhou, Consulate General of India, Guangzhou is glad to announce that these participants can participate in the competition virtually.
Please note the following details of the ‘Poster Making Competition’ being organized for the children of Indian Diaspora as part of the celebrations of the 77th Independence Day of India as well as the second year culminating the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’:
THEME: ‘India At 75’
DATE: 12 August (Saturday)
TIME: 1030-1300 hrs
VENUE: Consulate General of India, 14th Floor, HNA Tower 8, Linhe Zhong Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou
2. The winners of the competition will be presented with Cash Prizes on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2023 by Consul General.
3. All the participants are requested to follow the guidelines of the Competition as mentioned below:
Guidelines for in-person (physical) participants:
-The Poster Making Competition is open to the children of Indian Diaspora residing in Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Hainan, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region only.
-The maximum age of participation is 18 years.
-All the participants will be provided A-3 Sheet to make the Poster Design.
-Use of colours is mandatory. Black & White Posters will be disqualified.
-The participants not following the Theme of ‘India at 75’ will be disqualified.
-Participants must bring their own colours such as water colours, acrylic colours/ oil painting colours etc.
-Registration is mandatory for participation. Please register at the QR Code mentioned in the Flyer by 10.08.2023 (1800 hrs).
-All the participants are requested to arrive at the Consulate Premises by 1030 hrs sharp and complete their Posters by 1300 hrs sharp.
-Please note no participant will be permitted to make the Poster beyond the aforementioned timings.
-The participants must mention their names on the reverse side of the Poster only. The names should not be mentioned anywhere on the front side of the poster.
Guidelines for virtual (online) participants:
-The maximum age of participation is 18 years.
-The Poster Making Competition is open to the children of Indian Diaspora residing in Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Hainan, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region only. However, participants residing under Consulate's jurisdiction out of Guangzhou can participate online via real-time virtual link. The link will be shared with the participants after the mandatory registration.
-The online participant must join with the his/her full name on 2 camera views: one view focusing on the poster and another view should be set so that it displays the participant, his/her poster at a decent distance.
-The online participants must make their posters on A-3 Sheets.
-Use of colours is mandatory. Black & White Posters will be disqualified.
-The participants not following the Theme of ‘India at 75’ will be disqualified.
-Registration is mandatory for participation. Please register at the QR Code mentioned in the Flyer by 10.08.2023 (1800 hrs).
-All the participants are requested to join the virtual link by 1015 hrs sharp and complete their Posters by 1300 hrs sharp. Please note no participant will be permitted to make the Poster beyond the aforementioned timings.
-The participants must mention their names on the reverse side of the Poster only. The names should not be mentioned anywhere on the front side of the poster.
-The online participants must share the image of the poster immediately at
cul.guangzhou@mea.gov.in or by WeChat at +86 199 24320923 after completion of the poster by 1310 hrs on the same day.
-In addition, the online participants must send the posters on the same day by courier at the following address:
